About The Position
As an EWIS Engineer at Anduril Industries, you will play a crucial role in the design, fabrication, and integration of harness systems that are essential for our advanced military technology. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring that our harness systems meet the rigorous demands of various technical requirements, particularly in the defense sector. You will be responsible for investigating, planning, and developing harnesses that not only meet but exceed environmental and operational standards. This position requires a proactive approach to research and selection of appropriate materials, including connectors, back-shells, contacts, and shielding, to ensure the highest quality and reliability of our products. In this role, you will develop and generate detailed harness system block diagrams and wire diagrams, which will be released for production. Your participation in design reviews will be essential, as you will provide valuable input to identify potential issues and drive informed design choices. You will also prepare comprehensive harness assembly instructions and test procedures, leveraging your knowledge of industry standards and best practices. Collaboration is key, as you will guide the electrical team in identifying system requirements based on input from various stakeholders, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams, as well as product management and quality assurance. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will support new developments and active deployments, managing multiple projects concurrently at various stages of completion. Your ability to adapt and thrive in this dynamic setting will be critical to your success as an EWIS Engineer at Anduril Industries.
