Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an EW Hardware Responsible Engineer Integrator/Principal EW Hardware Responsible Engineer Integrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Melbourne, FL. This position may be filled by either at the EW Hardware Responsible Engineer Integrator level OR at the Principal EW Hardware Responsible Engineer Integrator level based on the qualifications listed.

Responsibilities

  • Help integrate newly developed system architectures, by planning and executing integration tasks, and help with performance analysis to verify system capability and requirements.
  • Support any stage of the aircraft subsystem life cycle activity such as developing primary designs, airworthiness activities, integrating, fielding, supporting, and testing of the system.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure robust and maintainable configurations are produced and managed.
  • Attend internal program, customer and/or supplier technical exchange meetings and/or formal program milestone reviews to provide and/or obtain progress status updates.
  • Demonstrate technical understanding in the field of RF spectrum operations as well as knowledge of other related disciplines.
  • Collaborate with technical leadership on system requirements verification and associated flow down, subsystem design/analysis, and subsystem performance verification including lab and range testing.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 2 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 0 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. (STEM) AND 0 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.
  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Warfare and/or Electromagnetic principles.
  • Effectively demonstrate understanding of fundamental RF principles.
