Torch Technologies is seeking an EW Emerging Capabilities Development Manager to join a team providing support to the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW) at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWW is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF). The mission of the 350 SWW is to develop and test mission data (MD) to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat. This mission includes operational EW testing, MD development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation. As an EW Emerging Capabilities Development Manager, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Masters' degree (engineering or business) with 12 years of experience or greater in capabilities development roles;
  • Possess demonstrated ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and an understanding of Windows-based personal computers and Microsoft Office software.
  • The successful candidate will possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
  • A Top-Secret Clearance is required, with a follow-on eligibility for SCI.

Nice To Haves

  • EW capabilities development experience is highly desired.
  • ACAT 1 program experience, either EW-related or combat-aircraft/weapons related.
  • Desired focus areas for program development experience includes requirements development, mission-focused software development, test experience or procurement.
  • Strong EW background is also highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business strategies and managing projects that encompass the design, development, production, testing, deployment, and sustainment of EW capability development, including the analysis of what resources are required to effectively onboard new mission areas.
  • Ensure strategic alignment with 350 SWW overall missions and objectives;
  • Oversee EW Life Cycle projects from conception to execution;
  • Collaborate with 350 SWW internal Stakeholders to ensure projects meet operational requirements.
  • The successful candidate will be required to travel.
