About The Position

Vector Fleet Management, LLC is an American based, privately held company that has been in the fleet maintenance business for over 30 years. Vector Fleet provides onsite, customized fleet maintenance solutions for clients in numerous states across the U.S. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, we manage multiple satellite operations at various contract sites across the country. Fleet maintenance is our one mission and we know we must hire the best to be the best. We are currently accepting applications for qualified Emergency Vehicle Fire Truck Technicians (EVT) to support our customer’s fleet located in the Newberry County, SC area for 1st Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday. What We Offer: FULL Time position – 5-day work week (Mon-Fri) 7:30am-4:00pm

Requirements

EVT Certification required
2+ years’ experience working on Fire trucks and/or ambulances
Must have the ability to perform preventive and repair maintenance on diesel engines and emergency apparatus
Technicians must own basic set of hand tools and wheeled toolbox suitable for daily use
Willingness and ability to advance technical training and certification in emergency vehicle repair
Must have acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check

Nice To Haves

ASE or OEM Certifications highly desirable
Trade School Certificates a plus
