About The Position

While maintaining a positive demeanor and pleasant attitude towards our guests, this position is responsible for cleaning and maintain the appearance of the casino public areas and public restrooms and providing information to guests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English both written and oral.
  • Must be currently working in the EVS department for a minimum of six months.
  • Must successfully complete special equipment training to include: Low/High Speed Stripper, Buffer, Extractor, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift, Pressure Washer, and Commercial Propane Sweeper.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including successful completion of background check necessary to obtain and maintain license.
  • Responsible to keep all documents current and valid at all times.
  • Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
  • Must comply with KLEC handbook, internal policy and procedures, and gaming regulations set within KLEC.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish or other language skills a plus.
  • Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American preference is observed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding to guest and team member concerns and questions.
  • Daily use of heavy-duty cleaning equipment such as: pressure washers, sweepers, electrical lifts, extractor cleaner machines, etc.
  • Sweeps floors and vacuum carpeted areas to clear all debris and chewing gum.
  • Refill all soap and paper dispensers; replace supplies.
  • Report tears or unsafe-carpeted areas to management immediately.
  • Clean, sweep and mop restrooms.
  • Clean and wipe down counter tops and mirrors.
  • Clean all toilets and urinals using proper personal protective equipment.
  • Refill all soap and paper dispensers; replace supplies.
  • Report anything that is not properly functioning to management immediately; such as toilets, sinks, etc.
  • Dust and polish office furniture and EGD machines.
  • Pick - up trash left behind on floor, in between machines and around casino premises.
  • Properly use all cleaning equipment and chemicals and report any misuse of chemicals and supplies.
  • Use floor and carpet cleaning machines and equipment.
  • Report machines or equipment that need repair immediately to management.
  • Clean ash urns and ashtrays at each assigned area.
  • Maintain all areas of the casino clean.
  • Clean and empty trash cans and containers and replace bags or liners.
  • Report any unsafe conditions to management immediately, regardless of department or location.
  • Clean outdoor premises including sidewalks, walkways, trashcans, entrance ways and parking areas as assigned.
  • Clean walls, vents, monitors, televisions, equipment, tall machines and other items or areas using a lift or ladder as necessary and by following safety precautions.
  • Maintain team member entrances and break areas clean.
  • Clean offices as assigned.
  • Move general storage items, furniture, equipment, boxes and any other items/supplies as assigned.
  • Perform all assigned duties in scheduled area(s).
  • Follow daily checklist and ensure all assigned duties are completed during assigned shift.
  • Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values.
  • Acquire and maintain equipment operational certification.
  • Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position.
  • Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.
  • Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 requirements and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti-Money Laundering policies.
  • Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SAR as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
