Environmental Services (EVS) Technician – Nights Location: Anacortes, WA Schedule: 0.6 FTE / 24 hours per week Salary Range: $20.40 – $20.71 per hour Differentials: Nights – +$2.25/hr. Evenings – +$1.65/hr. Weekends – +$1.50/hr.   • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, OR suites, recovery areas, offices, and clinics
  • Sanitize beds, furniture, counters, fixtures, and restrooms
  • Replace cubicle curtains and drapes in patient areas
  • Maintain resilient and carpeted floors , using mops, vacuums, and floor machines
  • Clean walls, windows, and equipment throughout the facility
  • Collect and dispose of trash, recyclable materials, and soiled linens
  • Unload, inspect, and distribute laundered items to patient care areas
  • Set up and clean conference rooms for meetings
  • Maintain equipment and storage rooms in a neat, safe, and sanitary condition
  • Read and follow chemical labels, ensuring proper dilution and use of cleaning agents
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and infection control
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependability and a positive attitude
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
