About The Position

This position provides for specialized cleaning of hospital areas assigned on a daily basis. This cleaning includes dusting, mopping, linen collection, waste removal and disposal, bathroom cleaning and cleaning of common areas, offices, patient rooms or specialized areas as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Industrial or Healthcare experience preferred
• Ability to learn all phases of housekeeping duties
• Ability to maintain a favorable productivity level after training
• Understanding of the importance of EVS role in maintaining cleanliness
• Ability to speak, understand, and read sufficient English
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Ability to use basic cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and mops
• Ability to perform essential physical requirements of the position
