Job Summary Performs routine cleaning of assigned areas, including direct and indirect patient care areas,diagnostic areas, offices, restrooms and public areas. Meets time, quality and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Able to lift, bend, pull & stoop.
- Good communication skills.
- Good physical health.
- Walking & standing 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to read & write.
- No previous experience required.
- Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Maintain adequate supplies on cart for supply replenishment in work areas.
- Perform routine floor care to clean, burnish and scrub floors.
- Dispose of solid, biohazard, recyclable and confidential trash per procedures.
- Utilize paging system.
- Utilize HEV systems for bed discharge/transfer flow.
