About The Position

The EVS Tech I is an essential contributor to promoting a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention, in accordance with quality standards. This role is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, ensuring an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors. The EVS Tech I also ensures timely room cleans, particularly as it relates to hospital patient throughput, and is expected to respond favorably to requests to adjust daily workflow or area assignment to meet hospital/discharge flow needs.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/ GED
• 6 months’ experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services position
• Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) certification or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification
