About The Position

As a Housekeeper with Mission Hospital, you will perform environmental service duties that promote a safe, clean, sanitary, and aesthetically pleasing environment that contributes positively to the healing process. Your work will be done in a manner that is least disruptive and harmoniously in tune with the goals and needs of visitors, physicians, and the staff of other departments. You will be expected to be considerate, courteous, and polite to all who enter the facility, demonstrating key values and concern while providing assistance as required.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and write at an 8th-grade level.
• Preferred: High School Diploma.
• Preferred: Previous healthcare housekeeping experience of 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental service duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Ensure the facility is aesthetically pleasing and sanitary.
• Work harmoniously with visitors, physicians, and staff from other departments.
• Demonstrate courtesy and politeness to all facility entrants.
• Assist as required to support the healing process.
