About The Position

The Environmental Services Supervisor at Xanitos Inc. is responsible for assisting in the supervision of the Environmental Services Department at Woodlawn Medical Center. This role involves establishing work standards, monitoring inventory and equipment usage, training staff, and ensuring high-quality service in hospital housekeeping and patient observation. The position aims to prepare the incumbent for operational duties through hands-on training under the guidance of the Department Director.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in the janitorial/housekeeping industry required.
• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent required.
• Strong service/quality attitude.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and achieve effective time management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet goals and objectives.
• Self-directed with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service skills.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of the Environmental Services Department under the direction of the Department Director.
• Establish and enforce work standards in conjunction with the Department Director.
• Monitor overall inventory and equipment usage.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory.
• Ensure staff receives proper initial training in assigned areas and tasks.
• Provide individual guidance and motivation to staff.
• Maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment.
• Demonstrate and promote Xanitos' culture, values, and management philosophy.
