In this role, you will be responsible for the floor care of all resilient flooring and carpet throughout the hospital. TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 150 bed hospital that has provided high-quality health care for over 40 years. The facility is the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Sumner County and a Certified Primary Stroke Center. The Birth Center at TriStar Hendersonville, featuring Sumner County's only Level II NICU services which hosts spacious LDRP suites and a lactation boutique for inpatient and outpatient services. Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience in the care and maintenance of resilient floors preferred
  • Organizational, Verbal, Interpersonal, and Customer Relations Skills required

Nice To Haves

  • Floor Tech Certificate preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform general Hospitality Associate, Environmental Services duties when needed.
  • Responsible for proper handling of all chemicals as well as following proper infection control policies and proper PPE use.
  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining of flooring in patient and non-patient areas, offices, common areas, hallways, and common area rest rooms to a high standard.
  • Assume accountability for promoting consistent, positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service.
  • Ensure that supplies are used as recommended by the label to ensure no waste of resources.
  • Supports the development and implementation of strategies to elevate the patient experience.
