This is a full-time position located at our Scripps Memorial campus in Encinitas. Must be available to work a varied shift (start time will be dependent upon the department's need) and varied schedule including weekends. This position will be responsible for floor care, waste management, housekeeping, and special projects as needed. The housekeeping team performs job functions to support environmental care: Operates mechanical floor cleaners, polishers and vacuums. Wet mops rooms, halls, stairways and public areas. Buff, strip, wax and polish floors and shampoo rugs and furniture. Cleans vents, fans and other equipment using vacuum machines. May move furniture and other objects as needed.
