About The Position

The position involves cleaning all areas of the casino, including restrooms, and ensuring that all cleaning tasks are performed satisfactorily. The individual must be able to follow safety procedures, especially when dealing with potential Blood Borne Pathogens. Attendance and adherence to company policies are essential, and the role may include other reasonable business-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Six months previous utility porter experience required.
• Must be able to do cleaning up to 50 feet high.
• Knowledge of carpet extraction, stripping and waxing floors, scaffolding, lifts, and ladders.
• Heavy lifting required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all casino areas, including sweeping and picking up trash, vacuuming carpets, wiping surfaces and retrieving glass items.
• Cleans restrooms, including scrubbing toilets, sinks, sweeping and mopping floors, deep cleaning of slot machines and stools and wiping surfaces.
• Empty trash cans and take trash to the designated area.
• Accurately follow all safety procedures, guidelines, or precautions when cleaning up potential Blood Borne Pathogens.
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to departmental and company policies.
• Performs other reasonable business related duties as assigned.
