About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Grounds Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of outdoor areas. This role is responsible for ensuring that the grounds remain clean, safe, and presentable for visitors, staff, and guests. Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour / paid weekly Schedule: Wednesdays and Fridays | 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Requirements
- Prior custodial or groundskeeping experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Remove trash, debris, and litter from all designated outdoor areas
- Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles
- Sweep walkways, sidewalks, and entry areas
- Maintain cleanliness of parking lots and surrounding grounds
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns (e.g., hazards, damages)
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently within the scheduled timeframe
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
