The Role Part-Time EVS Cleaner – Healthcare Facility | Ventura, CA We are seeking a dependable Part-Time EVS Cleaner to support environmental services within a healthcare facility. Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and clinical spaces to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment. Candidates should be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow healthcare cleaning and safety protocols. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM–10:00 PMLocation: Ventura, CA
Requirements
- Must be fluent in English language
- Covid-19 vaccination requirements may vary by client site.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of custodial experience a plus
- Prior experience cleaning in healthcare facilities preferred
Responsibilities
- Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
- Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
- Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
- Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
- Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
- Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
