About The Position

Responsible for maintaining a clean, welcoming, and organized public areas while assisting guests and supporting hotel staff. This role helps ensure guests have a positive first impression and comfortable experience when entering or waiting in the hotel.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Must be detailed -oriented in cleaning public areas
Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback and guidance
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemical safety
Must be able to work various schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or housekeeping is a plus
6+ months of Housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel environment

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean lobby, public areas, restrooms, hallways, stairwells and elevators which includes vacuuming, dusting, polishing, furniture and decor, cleaning/sanitizing surfaces and waste removal.
Stock supply cart and ensure that it is neat and well organized at all times.
Check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure that it is in good working order
Greet and respond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner
Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas and public areas.
Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
Polish and clean mirrors, floors and elevator doors.
Assist shampooers with the relocation of furniture.
Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to the Safety/Security department.
Provide instruction/guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency situations.
Support the department in any area that will maintain the building and guest service to hotel standards.
Must be ready to step in and support coworkers and team as needed to ensure efficient operation.
Perform duties, special assignments and projects as requested by management.
Attend meetings/training as required by management.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Director of Housekeeping.
