Highland Hills Medical Center has an immediate opening for an Environmental Services attendant/Materials coordinator. The new staff member will share time between the two departments. It is a PRN position with hours required for days, nights, or weekends. As the EVS Attendant: Job Summary/Duties and Responsibilities: Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department. Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner. Completes work assignments in a timely manner. As the Materials Coordinator: Job Summary/Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees various inventory transactions and supply activities in Materials Management and Clinical areas Monitors and corrects activities on the computer system Maintains inventory accuracy in the Storeroom and keeps the Storeroom neat and organized Purchases supplies as needed and processes bill-only purchase orders Trains new staff and provides backup coverage for Supply Distribution, Purchasing, Receiving and Courier/Mailroom. Assists with recalls; assists clinical areas with supply charging.
