About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services preferred but not required.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and walking for extended periods.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a hospitality or resort environment.
  • Certification in environmental services or housekeeping.
  • Familiarity with green cleaning products and sustainable cleaning practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and recreational facilities to uphold resort standards.
  • Follow established protocols for handling and disposing of waste, including recycling and hazardous materials, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of cleaning schedules.
