About The Position
The EVS Associate I is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Franciscan Health facilities, which includes restocking supplies, cleaning and sanitizing various areas, ensuring rooms are free of trash, and providing linen services. This role also involves caring for and cleaning all equipment used, and reporting any damages or safety issues to a Supervisor. The associate is expected to have a strong understanding of department policies and procedures. Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect floors using hospital-specific equipment, including microfiber cloths, wet mops, etc.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, such as over-bed tables, counters, and furniture, toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, walls, floors, and mirrors.
- Clean and sanitize vertical surfaces, such as walls, ceilings, and windows.
- Ensure cleanliness of high dust surfaces, such as picture frames, vents, and doorframes.
- Inspect rooms for proper cleaning, and report any safety or maintenance issues.
- Remove trash and linen, clean receptacles, and ensure they are prepared for next use.
- Restock paper, hand sanitizer and hand soap supplies.
