About The Position

Position Summary: EVS Associate I, Full-time 40 Hours per week, Evenings 3 pm to 11 pm Methuen campus Assist in cleaning of hospital departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in stripping and waxing floors, use of buffing machine and extractor machine required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned area each day, including bathrooms, flooring, furnishings, flat surfaces, high surfaces, and trash receptacles.
• Cleans the patient's furnishings and bed upon discharge following departmental procedures/standards for check-out.
• Cleans the assigned area utilizing proper chemicals.
• Cleans assigned area utilizing appropriate equipment.
• Obtains supplies and equipment at the beginning of each shift and puts supplies and equipment away at the end of each shift.
• Maintains the cart, caddy, equipment, and janitor closet in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans the assigned area in a designated time frame.
• Executes a job with little supervision.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
