Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or janitorial work is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures in a healthcare setting is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, corridors, restrooms, and common areas according to hospital standards and protocols
• Dispose of waste and hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of hospital equipment and supplies
• Follow infection control procedures to prevent the spread of germs and infections
• Restock supplies and ensure cleaning carts are organized and ready for use
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety guidelines, and confidentiality requirements
