Environmental Services (EVS) Aide – Rotating Night Shift Safety Sensitive Job

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Environmental Services (EVS) Aide to join our team. The EVS Aide will work rotating night shifts, including every other weekend, in a safety-sensitive position that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or a similar role is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Ability to work rotating night shifts and every other weekend
• Knowledge of safety procedures and infection control practices
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or a similar role is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other facility spaces according to established protocols
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment
• Dispose of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with safety guidelines
• Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness of storage areas
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of infections
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
