Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking an EVS AIDE to join our ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES team! The Environmental Services (EVS) Aide provides a clean and bacteriologically safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. In this role you will receive cleaning assignments, clean and sanitize assigned areas through performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, preparing beds, cleaning bathrooms, and collecting recycling, garbage using approved methods, chemicals and equipment. HOURS: Supplemental or 0.2 FTE, 16 hours every 2 weeks.
Requirements
- Knowledge of housekeeping standards and practices normally acquired through a demonstrated ability to read, write, and remember/follow verbal or written instructions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds maximum and frequently walk, stand, push/pull, reach and twist/turn.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer but not required, high school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a housekeeping department is beneficial but not required.
