About The Position

The EVS Aide Housekeeper at AdventHealth is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various areas of the facility, including patient rooms, restrooms, and public spaces. Requirements

• Familiarity with cleaning procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning using the 10 step process in patient rooms, ancillary areas, restrooms, offices, public areas, and corridors.
• Provide supplies to designated areas as appropriate.
• Coordinate and supervise areas of responsibility to meet departmental standards.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures set by the department.
• Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships.
• Transport hazardous waste from the point of generation to a designated secure storage area.
• Complete initial and refresher training on hazardous waste handling and personal protective equipment usage.
• Collect trash carts and deliver them to assigned areas.
• Respond to requests for special trash pickups and relines trash containers as needed.
• Attend all required Safety Training programs and understand responsibilities related to safety and job-related hazards.
• Promote effective working relations and work effectively as part of a team.
