About The Position

Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, WI is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant to join our team! This individual provides a clean and bacteriologically safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. In this role you will receive cleaning assignments, clean and sanitize assigned areas through performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, preparing beds, cleaning bathrooms, and collecting recycling, garbage using approved methods, chemicals and equipment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of housekeeping standards and practices
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal or written instructions
• Ability to lift 50 pounds maximum
• Ability to frequently walk, stand, push/pull, reach, and twist/turn
• Previous experience in a housekeeping department is beneficial but not required
