Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in media planning, account management, or a similar role in a fast-paced media or advertising agency environment.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and manage a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing media planning and account team through integration and new hiring.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop talent within the media and account management departments.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative team culture focused on delivering exceptional client outcomes.
• Establish clear roles and responsibilities within the media planning and account teams.
• Design and implement the overall media planning framework combining strategic planning and data-driven methodologies.
• Establish processes and best practices for quality media, innovation, efficient decision-making, and measurable results.
• Collaborate with various teams to implement the planning process effectively.
• Oversee all key media accounts and manage relationships with senior clients.
• Work closely with the Client Experience team to manage relationships across major accounts.
• Institute a process for assessing the health and opportunities of major media clients.
• Lead new business pitches and develop strategic approaches for each pitch.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities with current clients to uncover new revenue streams.
• Participate in industry events and PR to showcase the agency's innovative thinking.
