About The Position

Overview Plans and directs all aspects of an organization's strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget and fiscal management, cost benefit analysis, and forecasting needs. Responsible for the attainment of short and long-term financial and operational goals. Directs operational support functions including Supply Chain, Fleet, Facilities and Construction. Provides strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization Ensures accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP Oversees banking, investment management, cash flow management, liquidity and debt structure Oversees audit and IRS Form 990 tax filings Directs the development of the organization to ensure future growth Designs and implements business strategies, plans and procedures Sets comprehensive goals for performance and growth Assesses and ensure corporate risk factors are understood and where possible, insured at appropriate levels Oversees daily operations of the Finance & Administration divisions Evaluates performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics Participates in expansion activities including investments, acquisitions and corporate alliances Advise the CEO and Board on financial performance, risks and opportunities Manages relationships with partners and vendors Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor ’ s degree in Accounting, Business Management or other related field from an accredited college or university and fifteen (15) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Master’s degree preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS: CPA preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Understanding of business functions such as Finance, Facilities, Fleet etc. Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing at all levels both inside and outside of the organization Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with all levels both inside and outside of the organization Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications Strong analytical skills with consultative approach in resolving complex issues Ability to write general business correspondence and prepare executive and board-level presentations Ability to travel as needed PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds). Requirements
