About The Position

EVMS Project Scheduling Officer The Opportunity: As a project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, a project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of DoD programs. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Project, EVMS tools and regular interactions with stakeholders, project officers, and senior leaders. The real impact of project management comes from communication to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards. Requirements

  • Experience with industry-standard scheduling software, including Microsoft Project or Primavera
  • Experience in project planning and scheduling programs with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements
  • Experience with government or defense contracts requiring EVMS reporting
  • Experience performing detailed schedule analysis, variance reporting, and critical path analysis
  • Experience advising and collaborating with stakeholders to analyze, report, and develop recommendations on data related to milestone documentation
  • Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), risk management, schedules and performance metrics
  • Knowledge of cost estimating methods, including Parametric, Analogy and Engineering
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience with developing briefings and visual presentations for senior level military and civilian audiences
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Possession of strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), or EVM Certification
