About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Evidence Sales Specialist (Closer) with experience in the law enforcement sector to join our team. This role focuses on building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, primarily Police Chiefs, to promote and sell our evidence management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales strategies, industry regulations, and client needs, as well as the ability to meet and exceed quotas and metrics. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales role, specifically the SaaS industry. Sales to law enforcement a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a similar field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in engaging with high-level decision-makers.
  • Ability to analyze and understand state legislative policies that may impact the industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience with CRM systems.
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the law enforcement sector and evidence management solutions is a plus.
  • Previous experience in sales or business development within the public sector, a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment

Responsibilities

  • Meet and Exceed Sales Quotas: Achieve quarterly goals in new ARR within the calendar year, with clear alignment to sales outcomes.
  • Attain Sales Performance Metrics: Consistently meet or surpass weekly and monthly metrics directly tied to sales performance and client engagement.
  • Promote Team Culture: Foster a collaborative culture of teamwork, optimism, and work ethic, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Prospecting & Appointment Setting: Identify new methods for prospecting and generating business opportunities. Work closely with SDR to ensure timely follow-up on CRM leads.
  • Prioritize and Organize Workload: Effectively prioritize tasks, especially within CRM systems, ensuring follow-up within designated timelines for optimal engagement.
  • Adaptability and Growth: Show flexibility, coachability, and a desire for continuous improvement and career development.
  • Collaborative Sales Support: Partner with colleagues to enhance sales performance through shared insights and coordinated efforts.
  • Legislative Insight: Develop an understanding of state legislative policies across assigned territories to identify opportunities and align offerings.
  • Client Engagement and Advocacy: Engage with clients to cultivate long-term relationships
  • Industry Event Participation: Identify and prioritize relevant associations and regional/district meetings within assigned territory to present our value proposition.
  • Targeted Messaging: Collaborate with Marketing to develop professional communication within the assigned territory to maximize engagement and relevance.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Know the market and competitive landscape and be able to make intelligent, effective decisions for reaching target audiences
