About The Position

Dover Motor Speedway is seeking individuals for our upcoming events at Dover Motor Speedway. We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working and outgoing individuals. Team members will work events at Dover Motor Speedway, and the Woodlands at Dover Motor Speedway. Dover Motor Speedway and its parent company, Speedway Motorsports, maintains a consistent focus on four core principles Take care of teammates Be known for remarkable events Positively impact the community Profitably improve The ideal candidate will also be a productive and proactive self-starter who is passionate about his/her duties and willing to put forth the extra effort to achieve excellence.

Requirements

18 years of age
Customer Service background
Team player, have a positive attitude, use good judgment, and be professional
Ability to stand for an extended period of time and work outside in various weather conditions
Must pass a background check
Flexible work schedule, including weekends
Applicants must live within a reasonable driving distance from Dover Motor Speedway

Responsibilities

Greeting guests at entry gates
Scanning of guest’s tickets
Assist fans in finding their seat locations
Provide directions and answers to guests who need assistance with the grandstand seating area
Help create a fun and safe environment for our fans
Greet guests at hospitality functions
Check admissions to premium areas
Answering guest questions to ensure a first-class experience
Greet guests
Operation of elevator to ensure stops are made on correct floors
Provide information and directions to guests in need of assistance
Assist with setting up and teardown of events
Assembles and moves furniture and equipment around property
Involved with setup of tables, chairs, traffic cones, barricades, signage and fencing
