About The Position

To supervise and coordinate the execution of both online and in-person events aimed at gaining clients for the company. This role involves overseeing event staff, ensuring smooth operations, and assisting with the planning and execution of events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • In lieu of a degree, a combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in supervising or managing a team.
  • Familiarity with online and virtual event platforms.
  • Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the event staff, including Event Administrators and Event Specialists.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the team during event planning and execution.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Assist the Events Manager in the planning and coordination of events.
  • Oversee the setup, operation, and breakdown of events, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Ensure all events are executed according to the company's standards and client expectations.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients during events, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and client satisfaction at all events.
  • Manage client check-ins and provide support to event attendees.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to events, including maintaining records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of event materials and services.
  • Manage event inventories and supplies, ensuring everything is prepared and available as needed.
  • Provide training and support to new event staff, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Encourage and support the professional development of team members.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with the team to improve overall performance.
  • Recognize and address conflicts that arise during events, ensuring they are resolved fairly and effectively.
  • Maintain neutrality and fairness in all interactions with team members and clients.
  • Apply standard conflict resolution techniques to manage disputes.
