About The Position

At Stampin’ Up!, events aren’t just events—they’re experiences. From high-energy live gatherings to thoughtfully crafted virtual moments, our events connect a global community, spark creativity, and bring our mission to life. We’re looking for an Events Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and can confidently manage multiple events at once. This role comes with a steep (and very real) learning curve; it’s long, intense, and worth it. If you love learning, adapting quickly, and owning your work, you’ll find this role both challenging and deeply rewarding. Change is constant here and we embrace it. If you’re organized, flexible, calm under pressure, and operate with a strong sense of urgency (without losing attention to detail), you’ll feel right at home. We’re especially excited about candidates who can pivot quickly, anticipate needs before they arise, and make partners, internal and external, feel supported and confident every step of the way.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in event planning and/or convention planning
  • The ability to travel up to 50 days per year
  • Physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods during events
  • A high level of initiative, with the ability to work quickly, anticipate needs, make recommendations, and take thoughtful action
  • Strong attention to detail paired with the ability to keep partners calm, informed, and at ease
  • Experience with contract negotiation, Cvent, and online/virtual events
  • A love for organization, flexibility, multitasking, and navigating change with confidence

Responsibilities

  • Live our values daily by putting people first, acting with courage, bettering your best, and owning your work
  • Plan and produce engaging live and virtual events that align with company objectives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
  • Manage timelines and budgets while clearly communicating plans, updates, and expectations with internal partners and the field
  • Negotiate venue contracts to ensure all event needs are met while maximizing value
  • Lead and support large teams during event execution—from setup through teardown—while coordinating with vendors and contractors
  • Own the global event registration process, partnering across teams to ensure a smooth, accessible experience that complies with international guidelines

Benefits

  • A wicked-awesome benefits package (go ahead—compare it)
  • A Friday dress code every day of the week (dust off those jeans)
  • Extreme crafting experiences (totally optional… but highly encouraged)
  • Paid personal time off—like, a lot of it (we mean work/life balance)
  • Tuition assistance & a 401(k) with company match (future you says thanks)
