About The Position

Seeking an enthusiastic self-starter who is interested in growing their career in corporate events. This position is part of the Global Marketing team at Comcast Advertising and will be responsible for the execution of assigned promotion and events across brands at Comcast Advertising. Oversees event logistics, including contracting, venue set up and design and technical services. Is extremely detail-oriented and can multi-task on different projects simultaneously. Excellent written and oral communication skills to a variety of levels in the organization. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Works independently with minimal guidance, asks thoughtful questions and comes up with solutions on their own. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • 5-7 Years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in SplashThat, Hubspot, Wrike, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task on different projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end planning and execution of activations and events including budgeting, contracting, production, internal and external communications, catering, gifting, RSVP tracking, post-event analysis, and more.
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration across Social, Brand, Sales Marketing, Communications, Revenue, Creative, Legal teams to develop best-in-class events.
  • Source and manage various outside partners and vendors while developing and maintaining relationships.
  • Think outside the box, deliver new ideas and creative approaches on how to attract and impress clients and prospects.
  • Work within a larger events team and take on portions of large-scale event planning as well as owning own pipeline of events to manage independently.
  • Establish, maintain and monitor an annual events calendar.
  • Create a monthly industry events newsletter to be shared with key internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and distribute the purchasing and distribution of bulk tickets for industry events, sporting & concert suites, etc to internal stakeholders.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Attend work regularly, consistently and punctually.
  • Be willing to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Be willing to travel including on weekends.
