Requirements

  • Prior experience in banquets, catering, or restaurant service preferred
  • Strong guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Professional, polished, and service-focused demeanor
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Required to stand; walk; use hands to serve and clear food, beverages, plates/cutlery/glassware, additional objects
  • Able to bend and kneel to clear tables, serve food, etc.
  • Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and professional food and beverage service during banquet and catered events
  • Set up and break down event spaces in accordance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • Serve meals, beverages, and courses in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained throughout events
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and anticipate guest needs
  • Maintain knowledge of menus, ingredients, and event details
  • Collaborate with Banquet team members to ensure seamless event execution
  • Follow all service standards, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with resetting rooms between events as needed
