The Events Manager plays a key role in delivering seamless, high-quality events at both the Air & Space Museum and Exploration of Flight locations. This is a hands-on, shift-based role responsible for leading day-of-event operations, including coordinating Wings staff, volunteers, and external vendors. Responsibilities include managing event logistics such as deliveries, traffic flow, load-in and set-up, troubleshooting in real time, and ensuring a smooth event close. Events Managers are part of the Corporate Events team and report to the Director of Corporate Sales & Events. They work closely with Event Sales and Operations Manager, Facilities and other cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience. The work schedule is variable, requiring sign-ups for open shifts to include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift assignments are awarded on a first-come/first-serve basis. Event scheduling and frequency is variable and subject to change, and Wings Over the Rockies cannot guarantee work due to event availability, client cancellations/rescheduling, weather conditions, Museum closures, etc. Wings Over the Rockies is a Colorado-based non-profit organization and Colorado’s official Air and Space Museum, committed to educating, inspiring and exciting all people about aviation and space endeavors of the past, present and future. It operates two locations: the Museum in Denver’s historic Lowry neighborhood, featuring nearly 100,000 square feet of world-class historical and educational exhibits with over 60 impressive aircraft and spacecraft, and Exploration of Flight at Centennial Airport, which features 18,000 square feet of interactive experiences and aviation-focused events.
