The Division of Student Affairs is the hub of student life and well-being at The University of Texas at Austin. Responsible for participating with other managers in identifying, specifying, planning and supervising configuration design, user comfort and safety, and/or ticketing services required to operate professional entertainment events and/or private facility uses in a full service multi-purpose public assembly facility. Assigns and supervises tasks directly and through intermediate supervisors. Reviews and coordinates work in process. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with performers' representatives, representatives of private facility users, representatives of other outside agencies, co workers, subordinates, and other University personnel. Performs related duties as required. May interview, hire and train personnel in varied regular classified positions. May establish candidate pools, interview, hire and train personnel in extra help usher/event assistant, ticket seller, and/or other positions. May assist in delivering event operating services.
