About The Position

The EchoPark Speedway Events Intern is responsible for a assisting the Events Department on multitude of logistical elements and services for events hosted, promoted, or owned by the company. This position will work with within the Events Department to fulfill our mission of:

Requirements

• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Ability to read and write in English
• Available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed per event schedule
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively

Nice To Haves

• Strong administrative & computer skills are preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Publisher, & PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of multiple events hosted at EchoPark Speedway
• Support Thursday Thunder Series operations, including calculating and maintaining USLCI points standings
• Help setup, maintain, and remove traffic control devices (cones, barricades, fencing, etc.) to support event flow and safety
• Assist with directional signage setup and wayfinding throughout the venue
• Help coordinate and organize event materials, supplies, and equipment before and after events
• Communicate effectively with team to ensure smooth event execution
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Events Department
