About The Position

The main purpose of the Events Host (Seasonal) is: To support the events team on event-related requests, assist with essential tasks for team members and will be responsible for administrative tasks and troubleshooting prior to, and during events when necessary. Season will go from May 4th to Labor Day weekend.

Requirements

  • Represent American Dream, Nickelodeon Universe, DreamWorks Water Park & Angry Birds with highest degree of professionalism.
  • Excellent written skills including experience writing marketing or public relations text
  • Strong interpersonal skills including experience building and maintaining relationships with a diverse network of individuals and organizations
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize a large volume of tasks
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn
  • Great customer services skills

Responsibilities

  • Serves as support to the event team both in pre-planning and onsite at events.
  • Supports the team with planning and execution on event days.
  • Builds and supports uploading events.
  • Responsible for department's inventory of supplies and promotional items.
  • Coordinates collection, and organization of event materials for individual events.
  • Monitoring and updating event websites and event calendar.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of needs on days of events.
  • Helps to uphold company brand standards and guidelines when working on projects.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
