The Events Facility Coordinator is responsible for administering all non-educational programs, vendors and sponsor relationships of Circle Square Commons. Creates an environment that fosters cultural, social and recreational opportunities for both On Top of the World residents and the general public Manages a calendar of entertainment events that promotes a festive, energized atmosphere within the Town Center Ensures events are planned, managed and executed on the Town Square Ensures audio, video, and lights is executed for events on the Town Square and Cultural Center Manages calendar of events that are included in the Master the Possibilities program conducted in the Cultural Center Works in cooperation with the staff of the Health & Recreation department to provide the most up to date and meaningful programs Works closely with internal and external customers to develop a seamless continuity of services Supports and satisfies the specific requirements of entertainers Coordinates the set-up of various facilities within CSC/Cultural Center with the maintenance supervisor Accepts assignments to committees, task forces, etc., when requested Must be flexible to work event nights and weekends Performs all duties in adherence to OTOW standards Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and coworkers Performs other duties as assigned 1 Qualifications (Education, Experience, Technical Skills) Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s Degree preferred 3+ years of experience with event planning, implementation, and execution Skills and Knowledge: Broad functional experience in areas of entertainment including but not limited to live performances, festivals, art shows, and farmers markets, etc. Familiarity with word processing and basic knowledge of audio and visual equipment Must have strong interpersonal skills, good judgement and be capable of communication with a diverse range of individuals Ability to communicate, organize, prioritize, schedule and multi-task in a highly systematized and detailed manner Customer Service and communication skills Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills Self-motivated and a strong work ethic Honesty and integrity Team Player Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion Qualifications Colen Built Development provides equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
