About The Position

The Events & Education Specialist is a food enthusiast who passionately engages guests in Eataly's mission through events and educational offerings. Reports to the Events & Education Manager.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and executes public and private events including specialized cooking/wine/food knowledge classes, buyouts, press events, tastings and private receptions
• Writes and monitors class descriptions; compiles instructor biographies, Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) and sales contracts; creates class registration pages online
• Fosters accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning events
• Builds and manages client lists and relationships
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
