About The Position

HuSTL Hospitality is seeking an Events Division Manager to oversee all aspects of our Event Division’s daily operations. This is a critical role focused on ensuring efficiency, profitability, and high-quality customer service. The role is a perfect blend of hands-on, on-site execution and the strategic cultivation of strong client relationships. You will work to manage the most lucrative area of our business - our Events Division. This means you will help guide strategy and execution around stadium events, food truck events, residencies and festivals.

Requirements

  • Must be able to safely physically lift at least 30-50 pounds.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be self motivated and accountable.
  • Impeccable Organization & Timely Execution: You will manage a floating schedule and ensure all administrative tasks, including payroll, event paperwork, and deliverables, are completed accurately and on time.
  • Proactive Cross-Departmental Collaboration: You will communicate early and often with other departments like Marketing, HR, and Operations to anticipate needs and solve problems before they become crises.
  • Strategic Oversight & Delegation: You will take a high-level view of your workload, gauging success and effectively delegating tasks to your team while maintaining ultimate accountability.
  • Fiscal Responsibility: You will achieve and maintain profitability targets for each event, focusing on cost control, revenue growth, and data-driven decisions.
  • Leadership and Culture: You will lead by example, foster a positive and accountable work culture, and actively mentor your direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Event Operations: Lead the setup, breakdown, and on-site logistics for all events, festivals, and food truck executions. You will manage inventory and ordering, coordinate with other teams, and ensure all permits, licenses, and inspections are in compliance.
  • Cultivate Client Relationships: Serve as the primary liaison for our clients, working to understand and deliver on their goals. You will conduct quarterly check-ins to gather feedback, develop creative on-site promotions with our marketing team, and work to expand relationships into new business opportunities.
  • Manage Event Staff: Take full ownership of the event team, from hiring and training to coaching, disciplining, and growth. You will uphold our standards by providing timely feedback to HR and ensuring all team management documentation is complete.
  • Drive Profitability: Be accountable for the financial success of the division by watching labor logs, minimizing waste, and ensuring the menu and team are optimized for maximum sales. You will provide guidance and historical data to the Operations Manager to support the strategic plan for revenue goals.
  • Provide On-Site Support: Regularly work events and lead staff. Additionally, you will step in to work events when emergency needs arise and lead the team to success. You will work to provide timely, on-site support to any location as needed for scheduling, ordering, or other emergency needs.
