About The Position

Westmoreland Country Club has an exceptional opportunity for an Events Coordinator. This position will work hand-in-hand with our Catering and Events Manager to execute an exceptional experience for all banqueted events. Details and coordinates all catering-related needs of groups and special events.

Requirements

Associate's degree (AA) and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
Knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and POS

Responsibilities

Contacts customers face-to-face, by telephone and/or email, to confirm, coordinate, and update details for scheduled events and or parties.
Details each group's event needs which may include but is not limited to: menu planning, meal time, and room set
Conducts facility tours and sight visits for groups
Tracks guarantees and deadlines based on
Coordinates with Marketing & Sales department as well as Food and Beverage department to ensure specified arrangements are carried out as
Completes projects as directed in relation to the area of
Assists in the coordination of department members that may include, but is not limited to: Servers, Hosts, Set-up
Assists in monitoring business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs and other
Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest
Assists manager in communicating any changes or new policies and procedures to the
Regular and reliable
Performs other duties as necessary
Ensures accurate and timely invoicing for all services rendered, to include recording events on the POS
