About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about event planning and coordination, eager to gain hands-on experience in organizing a wide range of events from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences and social gatherings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events from inception to completion.
  • Support the events team with venue research, vendor communication, and contract management.
  • Help manage event budgets and assist with financial record keeping and invoicing.
  • Coordinate logistics including transportation, accommodations, catering, and equipment setup.
  • Prepare event materials such as signage, badges, and promotional items.
  • Provide on-site assistance during events to ensure smooth operation and respond to any issues promptly.
