About The Position

The Events and Promotions Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and management of programs and promotions within the Special Events and Promotions Department. This role includes managing all Box Office functions, creating and executing marketing programs, and ensuring effective guest communication. The manager will supervise a team, streamline operations, and enhance profitability through strategic planning and budgeting for events and promotions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event management and promotions.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial reporting accurately.
  • Experience in supervising and training staff.
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures, cash handling, and reconciliation practices.

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and event management software.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess event performance and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize profitability of special events, marketing programs, and tournaments by targeting the appropriate customer segments.
  • Manage event/promotion budgeting, data selection, invitation creation, and overall strategic planning.
  • Assist in actualizing budgets for individual special event productions, recording expenditures, and charting variances.
  • Coordinate vendors using the bid process and ensure correct and timely billing.
  • Oversee and inspect outside vendors and their job performance.
  • Maintain close ties with targeted guests through personal contact by phone and in person.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental and company policies while acting as a role model for others.
  • Provide necessary information to evaluate the success of special events based on casino drop and other qualitative measures.
  • Ensure assistance to internal and external customers in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials.
  • Manage the recruitment, hiring process, and coaching of On-Call Representatives.
  • Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks.
  • Create a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment for reporting potential violations or misconduct.
  • Oversee daily box office operations and ticketing at Caesars Entertainment properties.
  • Interview, hire, train, and motivate employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; and address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Manage ticketing inventory to maximize sales and oversee VIP and executive ticketing.
