Kaleo Marketing, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Events & Administrative Assistant to join our team in Torrance, CA. This full-time, in-office position is ideal for someone who is passionate about event management and administrative support. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing events and providing administrative assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting market research to identify new event opportunities in the San Diego, Los Angeles, and Orange County markets. You will add prospective events to our calendar and make initial contact with event promoters to gather detailed information and applications. Completing and submitting event applications via email and various event platforms such as Eventhub, Evently, and Eventbrite will also be part of your responsibilities. On the administrative side, you will manage and update company databases, including various event spreadsheets, and file documents into folders in our Google drives. You will communicate event information to our teams in San Diego, LA, and Orange County, manage inventory by restocking equipment and event-related supplies, and request and submit certificates of insurance. Additionally, you will support the team in daily administrative tasks, create, edit, and publish content for social media and internal email marketing, and assist in preparing materials for new hire training. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our events are well-organized and that our marketing efforts are effectively communicated.
