About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager / Event Project Manager to lead the planning, production, and execution of large-scale global events, developer programs, and multi-channel content initiatives. This role combines event operations, program management, and vendor oversight to ensure flawless delivery of high-impact experiences. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and skilled at managing multiple complex workstreams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in event management, program management, or large-scale project management.
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of event logistics and end-to-end event production.
  • Proven ability to manage virtual, hybrid, and in-person events at scale.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience communicating with senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with productivity and project management tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Asana, Airtable, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Commitment to inclusive event practices and accessibility.

Responsibilities

  • Event & Program Management
  • Lead end-to-end production and operations for multiple developer- or industry-focused events, including virtual, hybrid, and in-person experiences.
  • Coordinate cross-functional partners such as event production agencies, creative teams, video teams, social, design, and localization.
  • Manage stakeholder communication, run planning meetings, and provide status updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and detailed plans for each event.
  • Ensure all teams hit milestones, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Produce post-event reporting, insights, and recommendations.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the central point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Oversee vendor performance, alignment, and integration across all event components.
  • Support contract and scope management, including SOWs, POs, invoices, and change requests.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership and ensure clear information flow across teams.
  • Operational Infrastructure & Tools
  • Build and manage organizational systems such as trackers, schedules, documentation, and operational hubs.
  • Handle guest registration, speaker coordination, content tracking, and other event logistics.
  • Manage communications workflows, approvals, and stakeholder updates.
  • Continuously refine processes, templates, and best practices to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Executive & Cross-Functional Support
  • Prepare materials, agendas, and recaps for executive-level meetings.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute communications, presentations, and event documentation.
  • Ensure accurate, timely reporting of event updates, decisions, and action items.
