As an Event Technology & Registration Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of this mission, driving innovative and impactful strategies that align with this events-driven vision for the future.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant role, with strong preference for experience in corporate events.
  • Proven experience in management of high-touch projects or events successfully from concept to execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with session content management and tools (e.g., Rainfocus, Stova) and session scanning/lead retrieval management.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as both a lead and consultant on medium to large scale in-person and/or digital events simultaneously.
  • Project manage event registration and digital platforms, including working with clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee vendors and actively manage the attendee registration process.
  • Manage the digital experiences of events, leading or working with a team.
  • Lead and supervise Opus employees filling event support roles on projects.
  • Ensure planning schedules are met, budgets are balanced, and client needs are anticipated and exceeded.
  • Consult clients on registration website builds and digital tool configuration.
  • Create workback timelines and ensure they are followed.
  • Maintain documentation and manage content for registration website/digital tools.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using digital tools and platforms.
  • Participate in team and client meetings, documenting outcomes.
  • Demo registration website and digital event platform functionality.
  • Complete all projects within hourly goal and budgetary requirements.
  • Participate in internal trainings and suggest improvements to department resources/processes.
  • Regularly use advanced Excel formulas and present reports to client team.
  • Manage registration areas onsite requiring multiple kiosks, badge printers, and giveaways.
  • Supervise onsite team and act as a point of contact for the client.
  • Develop attendee support plans in conjunction with Customer Service Lead.
  • Create risk mitigation plans and adapt to changing circumstances.
