About The Position
Cutting Edge Elite is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated event staff to join our team in New York City. As we approach the busy season in the event industry, we are looking for servers and experienced bartenders who are ready to assist with a variety of exciting events at stunning venues. Our mission is to facilitate smoothly run shows for our diverse clientele, and we pride ourselves on providing a unique work environment that allows our staff to thrive in the dynamic world of events. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work flexible hours, with pay ranging from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on your experience and the specific event. Additionally, you will have the chance to earn tips when applicable. We offer three tiers of pay based on responsibility and client expectations, ensuring that your hard work is recognized and rewarded. At Cutting Edge Elite, we believe in investing in our staff. We provide free workshops to help you develop your skills and advance your career, whether you start as a busser or aim to become a chef. You will also have the flexibility to work in various active regions, including NYC, Atlanta, Austin, Miami, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. As an event staff member, your duties will include setup, passing, bussing, coat check, bartending, and collaborating with event planners. Bartenders will need to demonstrate their cocktail-making skills during the interview process. You will be expected to provide excellent guest service, maintain venue cleanliness, and communicate positively with event managers and other staff members. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to being punctual and dressed appropriately for events.
