Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 1+ years in a guest service role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in an entertainment environment, and enforcement procedures.
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance.
  • Ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
  • A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work 50 percent of the shows.
  • Ability to stand for more than 4 hours or more.
  • Able to properly communicate instructions to attendees.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests, providing stellar customer service with a smile.
  • Scan tickets upon entry to the venue.
  • Answer guest questions and alert guests of venue policies as needed.
  • Examine tickets for entry to various seat levels around the venue during the event and assist guests with locating their seats.
  • Help maintain clear aisles and inform guests of venue policies as needed.
  • Assist guests with special needs, such as helping with seat accommodations.
  • Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity.
  • Assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.
  • Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean, and presentable to the guests.
  • Help resolve guest complaints or problems or direct them to the appropriate department to assist them.
  • Assist patrons by giving directions to places inside or outside the venue.
  • Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in an emergency.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises.
  • Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety and order and to protect the venue's property.
  • May write reports pertaining to incidents or special occurrences during the event.
  • Patrol/Monitor premises to maintain a safe environment for artists, patrons, and staff.
  • Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent the passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
  • Perform bag searches.
  • Partner with fellow crew members at the end of the show to close the venue.
  • Assist the sustainability team with collecting and gathering cans and cups and placing them in the proper bins.
  • Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.
  • Additional tasks as requested by the Supervisor or Management.
